FYI to EU site visitors!

Blogger and, therefore, Google wants me to make sure you to know that the European Union (EU) laws require bloggers (i.e., me) to give EU visitors information about cookies used on my blog. In many cases, these laws also require me to obtain consent.

As a courtesy, they said they added the following notice on my blog to help meet these regulations:

"This site uses cookies from Google to deliver its services and analyze traffic. Your IP address and user-agent are shared with Google along with performance and security metrics to ensure quality of service, generate usage statistics, and to detect and address abuse."

The notice lets visitors know about Google's use of certain Blogger and Google cookies on my blog, including Google Analytics and AdSense cookies.
